The Dawn of the Witch is another popular anime series for all manga lovers. Produced by Tezuka Productions, The Dawn Of The Witch series is an adaptation of a fantasy light novel series, Mahōtsukai Reimeiki.
The Dawn of the Witch is the continuance of the famous series, Grimoire of Zero. The Dawn of the Witch Season 1 consists of six episodes and has been receiving immense love from the audience as it rightfully should!
The Dawn of the Witch Plot
The story is about Sable who attends the Royal Magic Academy in the Kingdom of Wenias but secures the lowest grades in his entire school. He has no remembrance of the time prior to his attending the institution. Headmaster Albus gives him the task to train according to a special regimen in the south which Sable eagerly accepts. Alongside the Dawn Witch, Roux Cristasse; Holt, is a human female with antlers, and Kidd, a lizard Beastfallen, Sable has to establish a village for the witches in such an arena where all the emotions and sentiments go against the existence of witches quite strongly.
During their journey, the four of them try their best to avoid the pupils of Dia Ignis Arbiters- a bunch of witch hunters infamous for murdering both witches and humans. Five years ago, their organization broke and given amnesty with the war’s end between the Church and the witches, however, their members are still roaming around and are hungry to trap any mages they come across.
Fortunately, with Roux’s Staff of Ludens, the “witch-eater,” and Sable’s never-ending supply of magic, the group has a good chance to be successful in the mission Albus has set for them. If they fail to, Sable’s memories around the magic and the entire academy shall be taken away too which would leave him behind with nothing but the silver-haired mage who rescued him first.
The Dawn of The Witch Season 2 Release Date
The Dawn of the Witch is a sequel to the popular show, Grimoire of Zero that was released in 2017 and consisted of 12 episodes.
Season 1 of the Dawn of the Witch was released on 8 April 2022. All six episodes have been released by now as well. Since the first season of the show has ended rather recently there is no official word on the renewal status of the show. As of now the show has neither been cancelled nor renewed.
However, the show is loved immensely by the audience and could be picked up for a season 2 owing to the fan power.

- Miho Okasaki: Loux Krystas
Miho Okasaki is the voice behind the character of Loux Krystas. Loux Krystal is a short witch girl. She helps Sybil on his mission. The only reason she is helping Sybil is to meet Zero or read the Grimoire of Zero.
- Sayumi Suzushiro: Holt
Sayumi Suzushiro is the voice behind the character of Holt. Holt is the topper in Saybil’s class.
- Manaka Iwami: Riiri
Manaka Iwami gives her voice to the character of Riiri in The Dawn Of The Witch.
- Taku Yashiro: Kudо̄
Taku Yashiro is the voice behind the character of Kudо̄. Kudо̄ is one of Saybil’s classmates.
- Masayuki Katou: Holdem
Masayuki Katou is the voice behind the character of Holdem. Holdem serves Albus.
- Yō Taichi: Albus
Yō Taichi gives voice to the character of Albus. Albus is the headmaster at Saybil’s magic school.
