The Ice Road is to be produced by Envision Media Arts, Aperture Media and code Entertainment, who were responsible for the production of movies like Death of Me, The Trial of Chicago 7 and Kill the Irishman respectively. The Ice Road movie revolves around the story of an ice driver, who leads an impossible rescue mission after a remote diamond mine collapses in the northern regions of Canada.

The ice driver risks his life to save the lives of miners stuck in the collapse, by travelling through a frozen ocean despite all the threats and thawing waters, that they never saw coming.

The new trailer released already shows the pair of ice drivers or truckers comprising of the actor from star wars: the phantom menace and ant-man and the wasp’s actor Laurence Fishburne heading towards a mission to rescue the victims of mine collapse at the northern region of Canada as soon as they hear about the incident.

As their journey towards the rescue location is of titular ice road, it forma a very dangerous environment where they don’t have to deal with a race against time, but looks like the rescue team has been sabotaged as well.
