The plot is based on Elena Ferrante’s novel of the same name. The story takes us back to the 1990s, to Napel, where a young girl named Giovanna Trada was only twelve. Meanwhile, she learns that her father, Andrea, does not regard her appearance compared to his sister, Vittoria. These remarks impacted Trada, who began looking for her sister on the other side of Naples.

After learning of this, she rushed to her aunt’s house to check on her sister, who was staying there. After some time, she and her sister travel to Enzo’s final resting place. She will be able to do so while she is there.

What Happened In The Lying Life Of Adults Season 1

The first season of The False Lives of Adults follows a girl’s search for her true reflection in a war-torn Naples. Giovanna, a teenage girl from the heights of Naples, is the protagonist of this Edoardo De Angelis-directed serial set in the 1990s. The plot follows Giovanna as she deals with her family and evolving dynamics.

As she journeys across numerous other realms, Giovanna finds the hidden side of Naples and its residents and her own resiliency and grit. Giovanna overhears her father saying at the start of the Show that he does not regard her appearance as much as her sister’s. When she learns about this, she goes to her aunt’s house to investigate.

But, towards the end of the first season, we find that Giovanna has dropped out of school, and for the first time, her family is aware that she has been involved in a sexual connection.

Giovanna’s interest rises in a scholar who turns out to be charming, angering her father and her sister Vitorra. And now Giovanna felt she needed to be in an equal position, albeit that of a scholar.
