This series is based on a novel written by Walter Stone Tavis of the same name as the title and was directed by Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet, plot of this series revolves around an alien named Faraday who arrived on earth deep into the oil fields of New Mexico, as his own planet and species are in danger of being extinct, his mission on earth is to find a woman who can save his planet and species.
Faraday finds it challenging to live among humans as a human, and the way through his mission he invented many useful innovative technologies to cope with difficulties. But Faraday later discovers that in order to save his own planet he has to save ours first. Faraday’s mission gets more dangerous and difficult than he had thought when the only human who can guide him abanded him to protect his family, so now Faraday must go alone to find solutions.
