We have a ton of information available about the seventh season of this iconic show. As usual, Celebrities will perform songs while wearing head-to-toe costumes and facial masks that obscure their identity.
The program, hosted by Nick Cannon, will employ panelists to guess the celebrities’ identities by analyzing clues presented to them during the season. Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke will participate in each episode and pick their favorite singer after all of the performances, along with the audience. The least popular person is eliminated, and their disguise is lifted to uncover their true identity.
This season, the contestants are split into groups, namely “the good”, ‘the bad”, and “the cuddly”. Six unnamed contestants were revealed as of January 30. We expect this season to have 16 contestants.
This is a step different from the previous season, where there were two groups and the finale featured a sing-off between the winners of the two groups.
As for wildcards, we expect them to be back. These are those contestants that do not appear at the beginning of the show. Instead, they pop up in the middle and win a chance to earn a true spot, failing which, they are eliminated.

Nick Cannon will return as host, as per usual, except for that one time he was down with COVID. Since season one, the four judges have been Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke. These four will be seated at the judges’ table once more. Season 7 will include just as many crazy guesses as they attempt to determine the actual identity of the celebrity participants and acquire the Golden Ear.

The production began in late January 2022. The Masked Singer Season 7 will launch a few weeks later to allow for editing and putting together those enticing clue packages. The 2022 Winter Olympics will be broadcast on NBC for 16 days, from February 4 to February 20. Other networks, notably FOX, do not schedule debuts against this high-rated competition. The Masked Singer Season 7 will premiere on March 9 at its customary Wednesday time slot.

One of the most difficult problems on The Masked Singer is keeping the singers’ identities hidden, according to executive producer Craig Plestis during the Fox Entertainment panel at Deadline’s Contenders Television virtual event.
“Every season it’s hard, a lot of people are trying to spy and get in with cameras on set. I always say the best job to have on The Masked Singer is to be part of the security detail, there’s more security than producers on the show. Without the secrets, the show is blown right open,” he said, and with good reason, given what recently happened.
Rudy Giuliani was exposed as an exciting costumed competitor in the inaugural Season 7 episode of Fox’s famous primetime series The Masked Singer, which aired last week. According to Deadline, judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke exited the stage in protest as soon as they spotted Giuliani.
When famous candidates are disqualified, the show is recognized for its jaw-dropping shocks, such as when they remove their headpieces. The reaction to Giuliani was maybe the most divisive on the show since 2020. When another unpopular Republican politician, Sarah Palin, was revealed as The Bear, The Masked Singer received backlash.
