The series is filmed entirely in Scotland which is the first in the history of an Amazon Original. Producer Suzanne Reid and the executive producers of the series are John Strickland and Derek Wax.

The Rig Storyline
Although a lot of details are not available about the plot, online sources say that the events of the show would take place on a Kishorn Bravo oil rig on the Scottish coast in the North Sea. The show will feature the rig’s crew who get stuck without any means to send a message to the outside world.
According to the official synopsis, the crew plans to return to the mainland when a mysterious fog starts spreading around them and they fail to communicate with anyone. While they attempt to find the reason behind everything that is happening, new relationships are formed and generational issues are revealed. The crew must try to do everything outside their potential and must confront a force that they cannot defeat so easily.
Considering the premise of the show, we can expect that there will be a lot of suspense and thriller elements present in the show. Since this is a brand new show and it is from the supernatural genre, it might get renewed for another season later if the first season receives a decent response and more weird things might get introduced.
