Supernatural will make a fiery comeback to the television platform with its prequel series, The Winchesters. The upcoming show has already made quite the headlines soon after the makers publicly announced it. It is a spin-off series following the parents of Sam and Dean. Thus, it is clear that the horror fantasy drama will follow much romance and unveil many secrets.
Jensen Ackles and Danneel Ackles produce the Winchesters. Robbie Thompson develops the story. Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios broadcast the show. The makers announced the series in the making on June 24, 2021. Finally, a pilot was released soon after in February 2022, which was directed by Glen Winter. Soon, the official announcement of the series being ordered by The CW came out.

The Winchesters Plot
The official synopsis of the show is out. It comes from the original show Supernatural actor Jensen Ackles. The star states that the spin-off fantasy is all about going through the love story of John Winchester and Mary Campbell. However, that is not all, as the duo will be seen protecting their love and saving the world.
The story follows the lives of Mary and John, who, despite all the odds, chose to form an alliance and find their missing fathers. John has returned from a war in Vietnam and is looking for her father. On the other hand, Mary is a demon hunter with a similar problem. The duo soon are seen to collaborate on their mission and look for the mystery behind their father’s disappearance.
Here two more characters join in. The duo is met with Carlos and Latika, who are also hunters. Finally, Ada takes them closer to solving the puzzle. It is without a doubt that John’s mother is entirely against his motive to become a demon hunter. However, much to her dislike, he continues his journey. The series will find him making a family of his while on the search.
The Winchesters Trailer
The action fantasy series released a trailer on July 27, 2022. The 3:20 minute-long clip finds Mary and John meeting each other when a demon attacks the latter. Soon, John decides to go with Mary and the rest to hunt demons and find the truth about his father.
However, many questions have been raised about the plot. Many also predict time travel and John losing his memory towards the end. It will be interesting to see what the makers have in mind with the story as John and Mary’s past has been mentioned several times in the original show.
