Undercover is a Belgium-Dutch Dutch language crime drama series. The first season was premiered on 24th February 2019, in Belgium. The series began its streaming on Netflix on 3rd May 2019. The series has a total of 3 seasons with seasons 1 and 2 having 10 episodes each and season 3 having 8 episodes. The plot of this story is inspired by true events.
It revolves around undercover agents who infiltrate a drug kingpin’s operation, it is executed by two agents Bob Lemmens and Kim de Rooij who act like a couple at the campground where the drug kingpin is spending his weekends. Undercover was nominated for Film Festival Oostende under the category Best Actress – TV Series. This series is packed with a humongous amount of twists and turns and is overloaded with a lot of emotions.
Undercover Season 3 Plot
Undercover season 3 starts with Bob’s entry who was fired by the federal police force. Then he is approached for help by his old boss Patrick to find a mole in the drug squad. Ferry Bouman is let out of the jail early so as to infiltrate the bulut gang and find the mole. Ferry approaches the buluts by telling them that he is willing to be a supplier for them and meanwhile Bob has to act as his business partner. Leyla is the wife of Serkan Bulut, she is Elegant, Smart, and suspicious. Leyla and Timur run the show as Bulut is in a wheelchair.

Undercover season 3 Ending Explained
In the last episode of Undercover, Leyla decides to run away with her children leaving her husband and the new ganglord Serkan behind and she is dealing with one of her biggest dilemmas. Another reason for her to run away was that she realises the intensity of the troubles awaiting her. Leyla starts to fall for the trap set by Bob and that’s when we start feeling a bit emotional for Leyla. At the end, Leyla and Serkan get arrested because of the plan set by Bob. We can see on the face of Leyla that she is thirsting for revenge and that might lead to a great twist in season 4.
Undercover season 4 Renewal Status and Release Date
Season 4 of Undercover is expected to be released by the end of 2022 but the official date is not announced yet. As there is no official declaration the date might get a little delayed. Undercover season 4 still remains the most awaited season on Netflix as season 3 has left the fans in a lot of suspense, but for now, we can just hope for the next season to be released soon.
