Wellington Paranormal Season 5 Release Date
Wellington Paranormal is a New Zealand horror comedy television series created by Jemaine Clement and Paul Yates. The series is written by Jemaine Clement, Paul Yates, Melanie Bracewell, and Jessica Hansell. It is directed by Jemaine Clement, Jackie van Beek, and Tim van Dammen starring Mike Minogue, Karen O’Leary, and Maaka Pohatu in the lead roles. The entire series is produced by New Zealand Documentary Productions.
The first season of Wellington Paranormal was released on 11 July 2018 with a total of 6 episodes. A year later the release of Season 1, on 16 October 2019, the creators came up with a second season with 6 episodes similar to Season 1. The show got really hyped by the audience. Especially the horror-comedy genre caught the attention of the audience. This encouraged the creators to come up with Season 3 which was released on February 21, 2021, and a year later the fourth season which aired recently on February 16, 2022.
The final episode of the fourth season was released on March 23, 2022. Since the release of the previous season has just happened, we can’t actually predict anything about ‘Wellington Paranormal Season 5’. It’s just been a few months since the release and the creators haven’t given any updates or even hints regarding ‘Wellington Paranormal Season 5’. Wellington Paranormal Plot Summary
Season 1
The story begins with Wellington police officers, Minogue and O’Leary, spotting a drunk girl and taking her to the police station. But the gets shocked when she climbs the walls of the police station like a spider and claims herself to be Baazual of Unholy Realm. Soon after the incident, both the officers get recruited into the Paranormal unit and they get tasked to solve all the strange phenomenon cases in Wellington. The next case they solve is of a cow that ended up on the top of a tall tree, and they figured aliens to be responsible for it. Next in Khandala where they go to a party, but strangely the party doers get vanished when the music is unplugged.
As usual, they claim ghosts to be responsible for this. The next case is an uninteresting one, a pizza delivery guy complains that he is chased by a dog wearing jeans. Soon they find that a young girl Sheena is its owner. But to their shock, Sheena turns into a werewolf while they were traveling in a car. She got this condition from her boyfriend. Two police officials get bitten by a zombie, and they turn into a zombie and go on biting the citizens. The paranormal unit gets to know about the situation, soon they safeguard the people. Though the two officers get back to their normal selves, they get reassigned to desk duty.
Season 2
Ten anglers get disappeared into the sea. Minogue and O’Leary go to the sea to investigate more. They find that the sea minister taniwha has emerged out due to overfishing and has kept the angler in custody. Somehow they rescue 9 of them but 1 go disappeared. Next, they encounter a school with magical power, where three girl students who are witches are responsible for all the strange happenings in the school. A ghost policeman goes on scaring people for the unnecessary ban on horn hooting.
The next case is surprisingly a shocking one for all the officers. They find the body of a man who exactly looks like Minogue, deep investigation leads them to the opposite of Wellington, where they find each copy of all the people. They find that these are the aliens from the earlier incident (Season 1). somehow, they retreat the alliance back to space. The next case is the mobile phones of the citizens goes missing into a strange place where they gather together in becoming a snake and later becomes a robot.
Season 3
They fight with an invisible monster. Later become friends with it when they get to know about the causes. The giant creature from earlier kidnaps a camper, for mating. The officer explains that the camper is a guy, and it’s impossible, hearing this the monster returns. The people get chased by various toys that they fear. Later, the officers find that the Fear Factory’s owner is responsible for this. They also deal with other cases like one with Ghostly villains, a usual meteorite strike, and a sentient fatberg.
Season 4
The officials encounter a giant bird from the previous island who keeps attacking people and stealing objects. They also deal with cases of a wicked man, a jacket of two ghosts, ghosts havoc from a cemetery, manifesting unruly behavior, and a case of time travel.
No wonder the series is a hit, the officials are solving quite interesting but scary cases. Wellington Paranormal Season 5 will be worth waiting for.
