Woori the Virgin Season 2 is the second season of Woori the Virgin which is an American drama. Woori the Virgin is a K-Drama that is based on the five-season American drama Jane the Virgin. Oh Woo-ri (played by Im Soo-Hyang), a lady who takes pleasure in maintaining her virginity, finds herself pregnant with Raphael’s (played by Sung-hoon) kid as a result of a doctor’s error in this romantic comedy-drama K-Drama series. The CEO of a cosmetics company is Raphael. Jeong Jeong-Hwa is the creator and director of the South Korean TV show.
Not that it is disrespectful, though. Woori The Virgin is an equally engrossing tale of the grey areas of life, including generational pain, grief, single parenting, artificial insemination, and societal shame. These topics are all seen through the eyes of individuals who are decent but powerless in the face of their own situations.

Woori The Virgin Season 1 Plot
Oh Woori (Im Soo-hyang) is a virgin who is 30 years old (as it says on the tin). Normally, one wouldn’t mind because, you know, “to each their own” However, Woori’s sexual orientation is evidently known to everyone around her. She made a vow of celibacy at the urging of her grandmother when she was 15 years old (there is a lot of generational trauma to unpack here; I’ll get to that in a moment), and now that she is 30 years old, she is paying the price by having literally every friend bring it up in conversation or spark a debate. Wow, women just can’t seem to get a break.
Life is good, though, since Lee Kang-Jae (Shin Dong-Wook), her devoted detective lover, is the epitome of perfection. He shares her beliefs and is charming, considerate, hardworking, smart, and committed. Their dates begin with them serving drinks at the neighborhood church and end with the couple visiting the confessional because Kang-Jae had impure thoughts about Woori and wished to atone.
Raphael informs Ma Ri he wants a divorce after he gets home from the hospital after overcoming cancer. She secretly intends to use the last of his sperm for artificial insemination to convince him to alter his mind. Woo Ri is also present in the clinic at this time.
But as with life, things become more challenging. Woori is artificially inseminated with Raphael, the CEO of Diamond Cosmetics, using the last viable sperm after an error at the OB-office. GYN’s (Sung Hoon).
Kang Jae’s marriage proposal is ruined when Woo Ri reveals to him that she is carrying someone else’s child. Raphael and Mi Ja learn about the medical incident in the meanwhile.
Woori finally decides to keep the child and give Raphael a chance at parenthood after a comedy of errors in which she is offered money to keep the baby by Raphael’s father and his cunning wife Lee Ma-ri (Hong Ji-yoon), who ruins her marriage proposal by announcing she’s pregnant and learns that famous actor Choi Sung-il (Kim Soo-ro) and her mother may know each other.
She informs him about it as a murder occurring in the hospital, which surprises him in a good way. Woo Ri, however, begins to have doubts about Raphael after observing him with other women.
Woo Ri develops a passion for Kang Jae as a result of the pregnancy’s increased estrogen levels. Raphael receives the letter she sent him outlining her preferences, nevertheless. It’s too late for her to stop him from reading it as she runs.
When Woo Ri’s father Seoung Il learns of her pregnancy, he raises a commotion in the hospital that is captured on camera and shared online, outraging the public. Seeing Raphael always standing next to Woo Ri causes Kang Jae to begin to feel excluded. Woo Ri recognizes this and makes an effort to make amends by accompanying him on a camping vacation.
Woo Ri has problems eating and sleeping as a result of splitting up with Kang Jae, which is seen. She even collapses. Raphael makes an effort to provide Woo Ri with wholesome food and relaxation, but she won’t take it outright.
Raphael and Woo Ri confess their emotions for one another to one another. Ma Ri hears them and has recently finalized her divorce from Raphael. Her mother informs her that getting rid of the infant is the only option for them to be apart.
Raphael and Kang-Jae have been attempting to get Woo-ri to date them, but they and Woo-ri have different plans for the future. With the aid of Raphael and Ma-ri, Kang-Jae manages to capture Chairman Kim. Raphael bids Ma-ri farewell and expresses appreciation for her assistance. Eun-ran has been asked to marry Sung-il, but she won’t respond until Woo-ri has made up her mind.
The choice on who Woo Ri will marry is soon to be made. However, she unexpectedly develops appendicitis and is sent to the hospital. Woo Ri makes a proposal to the one she knows would always be at her side when she has recovered. Ri Woo, Woo Ri’s daughter, is born into the world in the meanwhile. They soon have a great family celebration for her 100th day.
Will Woori The Virgin Season 2 Be Released?
Woori The Virgin Season 2 has not been renewed by SBS as of the time this article was written. It is common for the industry to hold off on choosing until they have decided whether to renew. What we will reveal, though, is that the K-Drama series’ viewership has declined recently, and reactions from viewers and reviewers have been mixed. Additionally, as is common knowledge, most K-Dramas want to have a single-season plot and wrap things up neatly by the finale. So, after seeing the ending, we’ll be able to guess what the authors were going for.
That does not imply that it won’t be renewed though. There’s a slight probability that the actors may reappear if this series is revived for the second season, Woori The Virgin Season 2.

Fans will be disappointed to learn that the show has not received Woori The Virgin Season 2 renewal. The cancelation of the program has not been officially announced by the show’s producers.
