Wrong Side of the Tracks is a Spanish thriller drama starring José Coronado, Nona Sobo, and Luis Zahera in the lead roles. It was created by Aitor Gabilondo and David Bermejo. The series has a total of two seasons with 16 episodes. Season 1 of the series was released on 1 February 2022. In the eight long episodes of season one, the creators clearly showed two sides of life. One shows the romantic side of life and the other which shows the drug mafia.
The first season managed to capture the attention of the audience. It attracted the audience with its excellent storyline, thriller, and actions. The audience’s excitement is undoubtedly a green signal for the creators to come up with a second season. But so far, the creators haven’t made any official announcement about the release date. Wrong Side of the Tracks Season 2 Plot Summary
The first season of ‘Wrong Side of the Tracks’ was suspenseful, witty, and engaging. Each episode made the audience immerse in the series. The series neither lagged the story nor rushed it, the pace was proper, which made the audience desperate about every upcoming episode. The story revolves around a teenage girl, who falls into the clutches of drug dealers and a war veteran, her grandfather decides to pull her out from it.
The story begins with the war veteran Tirso who currently runs a hardware shop at Entrevias. He figures out that his neighborhood is ruled by drug dealers and his granddaughter Irene has already fallen into their trap. Irene is the adopted granddaughter of a family named Abantos. Though the family is rich, she never felt like she belonged to that family. She always felt lonely. Soon she met Nelson and fell in love with him. Irene’s boyfriend Nelson gets drugs from Sandro, the drug head, to make money and elope with Irene.
But when the cops follow him he gives it to Irene. Irene packs and calls Tirso to take it and keep it at his place. Tirso becomes suspicious of her and checks her bag and finds drugs in it. He fights with her the next morning and drains the drugs into the sink. Things get messed up when Nelson comes back for the drugs. Irene decides to solve the problem herself and visits Sandro. There Sandro’s men drug her and sexually assault her. She decides to hide this from her family and Nelson. When Tirso gets to know about this he decides to get back at them.
Tirso sets up a spy Sanchis, in the drug gang to get private information. Something goes wrong between Sandro, the drug head, and Ezequiel, which makes Ezequiel join Tirso to destroy Sandro. Meanwhile, Irene takes treatment from a psychologist to come out of her traumas. Tirso suspects that Sandro has kept his drug supply at the nightclub La Rosa and asks Gladys to get entry to the club. Tirso with the help of Nelson, Pepe, and Sanchis burns Sandro’s drug club. Thus, putting an end to the evil drug King Sandro.

The Spanish thriller deals with the story of drug dealers and the victims of those. The main protagonist of the story is Tirso, an ex-military man, who runs a hardware shop in his neighborhood at Entrevias. He finds that drug activities are happening in his neighborhood. He gets shocked when he figures out that his family was no exception. His granddaughter Irene has somehow fallen into their trap. Tirso along with his military friends sets out to clean the neighborhood from the drug mafia King Sandro. By the end of the series, we witness the drug empire of Sandro burning into ashes.
