Yumi’s Cells Season 1 Plot Recap
The story centers Yumi, who is an ordinary office worker, and her life from the perspective of the cells in her body. The cells give her advice when she encounters different situations in her life. Yumi developed a crush on Wook, but later gets to know that he is not into girls. She feels heartbroken. To help her move on, Wook sets her up with his friend Woong. They start to understand each other and start dating. But after one year, Yumi breaks up with Woong when she knows that he is not ready to get married. She breaks up with him for good. The first season ends with this.
Yumi’s Cells Season 2
In the second season, we can see Yumi having feelings for her co-worker Bobi. But she hesitates to confess her feelings to him, in the fear that people might judge him by sayings he broke up with Woong for Bobi. But after a long struggle, they both confessed to each other. Again something happens to them, and they break up after dating for a year and a half. Now, Yumi decides to concentrate more on her writing career and take a break from finding a boyfriend. But it becomes more difficult for her when Woong comes back into her life.
