Compared to many shows and films that are announced and then sit for months or even years without a release date, Zoey 102 was given a firm release date only a few months after the project was revealed. As stated, alongside the first trailer’s release, Zoey 102 will premiere on Paramount Plus on July 27th, 2023. The short time between the trailer and the release is ideal for generating interest in the film since it allows audiences enough time to feel enthusiastic but not so much time that they forget about it.

Zoey still pines for Chase Matthews, her high school sweetheart who eluded her. And the involvement of Todd, the phony boyfriend she hired, complicates matters even further.

With a few noteworthy exceptions, Zoey 102 will reunite several of the series’ principal cast members. First, Jamie Lynn Spears will reprise her role as Zoey Brooks. Spears will also act as an executive producer this time. In addition to the lead, Sean Flynn, who played on-again, off-again love interest Chase Matthews, will return to Zoey 102.
