Castaway Diva is produced by Baram Pictures and Kakao Entertainment Production Companies along with Lee Dong-eun and Shin Su-jin. Se Jae-hyun is the executive producer, and each episode is 80 minutes long.
The first script reading of the series was completed on 8 March 2023, and its production was started soon after.
