DMZ Season 2 Storyline

DMZ was first released in 2022 on HBO Mac and it is inspired by a DC comic book series by Brian Wood and Riccardo Burchielli. The main plot focuses on Alma’s son Sketch, who goes missing in Season 1 and has changed his name to something that sounds like a boy. This happens towards the end of the first season and we get to see that reconciliation happens between Skel and his mother and the latter helps Skel to defeat his father.

Skel decides to leave the DMZ and start everything from the beginning. Parco’s evil intentions also get to see their end. Also, Alma makes a final decision to stay and become the next leader of the DMZ.

Now a second season is possible considering that the first season ended on a cliffhanger note. While Alma maintains a new social order in the DMZ, she has to face a lot of new challenges. The political structure currently working at the DMZ has the potential to go through some changes if the conflict witnesses some new developments between the US Army and the Free States Army.

The second season could also disclose Alma’s relationship with Odi and Skel’s life in the world outside DMZ and this will help us to know a lot more about them.
