Jigsaw Storyline

Jigsaw is confirmed to be a show based on a heist where a group of thieves with different skills collaborates for something big. This is the story of the biggest heist ever and is inspired by the events of Hurricane Sandy in 2012 when the flood resulting from the rain-soaked around $70 billion of bearer bonds in New York City. However, the major difference will be that here we would get to see that the bonds have been stolen, while they were only damaged.

This will be a non-linear story and will take place on different timelines starting from 24 years before the heist to one year after the heist. Netflix had once stated on Twitter that Jigsaw will be different compared to other shows. The Hollywood Reporter said that the show will be something where you would be able to choose your adventure. In short, audiences will be able to choose the way they want to see all the episodes eventually resulting in a grand finale.

Heist-based shows are sometimes made in case the makers and streaming platforms decide to bring something unique and new to the audiences. Money Heist has already been a big hit on Netflix and it seems like other producers and production companies are trying to attempt something similar to win the hearts of the audiences. Considering the storyline, this one is expected to be a hit and should receive positive reviews from critics. Time will say if it gets renewed for another season.
