Only Murder In The Building Season 3 is an American mystery comedy-drama TV series created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, and the ten-episode primary season premiered on Hulu in August 2021. Three strangers with a shared interest in true crime podcasts – Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez – join forces to investigate a death in the apartment complex they all live in. It has received critical acclaim for its comedic approach to corruption fiction and the performances and chemistry among the principal actors.
The three neighbours start their podcast after a suspicious death occurs in their Upper West Side apartment building. The trio became suspects in the bloody murders of more building residents in the second season, which premiered in June 2022. Martin Short has been nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Principal Actor in a Comedy Series and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series. Much like the arrangement for season 2’s storyline, the introduction to season 3’s plot occurs in the final minute of the end episode. Paul Rudd’s character, Ben, fails on stage, bleeding from his mouth, and is supposed dead — and just minutes before the curtains lifted, he and Charles were in a tense exchange, where Charles declared, “Stay gone from her” and “I know what you did.” Whom is Charles mentioning? What does he know? These questions endure as we wait for the next chapter to explain.

According to the announcement that ended on the OMITB social media accounts, “all of our favourite characters” will reoccurrence in the third season. So we’ll see the crime-solving trio, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel, loveliness on our screens once again.
Aside from our cherished trio, Marvel and Clueless actor Paul Rudd is officially joining the cast for season 3. According to an August 23 report by Variety, Paul will reprise his role as Broadway stellar Ben Glenroy after making a cameo in the season 2 finale, “I Distinguish Who Did It.”
“Paul Rudd, after formation a favourable entrance into the world of our demonstration at the end of Season 2 by way of Ben Glenroy, is the big shot we want to know supplementary about and see in our upcoming Season 3 — as he is a clear source of countless upcoming questions and, as ever with our show, many screws yet to come!” showrunner John Hoffman told Variety.
There’s another famous face manufacturing its way into the Arconia. Tony Award-winning actor Jesse Williams will assemble the cast of Only Murders in the Building season 3. According to Deadline, the past Grey’s Anatomy star will “play a documentarian with a particular interest in the case” that Mabel, Charles, and Oliver are employed on.
Currently, there are no additional casting details for season 3, but you already know we’ll be on the circumstance once more information drops.
