As his “widow” plots his death, Stede sits her down for a serious talk, during which he comes to terms with his lifelong passion for the sea and his profound love for Blackbeard. Together with his wife, Stede fakes his own death so that he can resume his seafaring lifestyle. Earlier, we said that Stede rescued the stranded crewmates before they resorted to cannibalism.
Eventually, in Our Flag Means Death Season 2, Blackbeard and Stede will get back together. Jenkins told Decider that the relationship itself is the show. Here we are at the finish, and there has been a breakup. What occurs after a breakup between two people, one who has realized he is in love and the other who has experienced pain unlike any he has known before?
In this fast-paced pirate universe, how does that affect them individually as they strive to track each other down? It’s hard to say how this reunion will go, especially with Blackbeard’s violent heartbreak and persistent belief that Stede abandoned him. Let’s all say a prayer for Stede’s protection. We also doubt that Blackbeard’s right-hand man, Izzy, would welcome Stede back with open arms, given how he feels about his captain. I think Izzy’s really in love with Blackbeard, and it’s a very dysfunctional type of love, and he’s like the jilted spouse who’s losing his man to fucking Stede Bonnet, and he can’t believe this is happening,” Jenkins told the Verge.
Thus, we anticipate that Izzy will attempt to eliminate Stede once again as soon as possible. He must also figure out a way to save his crew and get a new ship while dodging dangerous foes. Though we don’t know much about what will happen in Our Flag Means Death Season 2, we can assume that Blackbeard and Stede’s romance will be central to the story.

This means that Taika Waititi will reprise his role as Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard, and that Rhys Darby will reprise his role as Stede Bonnet. Regular cast members will most likely return, including Ewen Bremner’s Nathaniel Buttons and Samson Kayo’s trustworthy Oluwande Boodhari. We predict that Spanish Jackie, the most powerful pirate commander thanks to her 19 husbands, will be portrayed by Leslie Jones and that Con O’Neill will reprise his role as Izzy, whispering in Blackbeard’s ear.
Despite being sent overboard by Blackbeard in the first season, Nathan Foad is slated to return as Lucius Spriggs in future installments. Therefore, we are interested in the next installment to find out how the pirate was spared and what he is doing now. Blackbeard’s first-season crewmate, Guz Khan, will not be returning. The actor announced the news on Twitter that his character would not be appearing in the new pirate movie due to scheduling conflicts and other issues. At this moment, it is unknown if the ensemble will be considerably reduced this time around, like Khan, or if a new supporting cast will be introduced.
