Ragnarok Season 3 is a Netflix fantasy drama streaming television series based on Norse mythology. It takes place in the present day, in the fictitious Norwegian town of Edda in Hordaland, Western Norway, which is afflicted by climate change and industrial pollution caused by the local Jutul family’s factories.
The Justus are four Jötunn masquerading as a family. Magne, a teenage lad who is surprised to know that he is the reincarnation of Thor, the god of thunder, challenges them and begins the war against those who are ruining the planet. In the second season, he is joined by more people who take on the roles of other gods.
The third and last season of the Norwegian fiction series ‘Ragnarok’ has been completed. We confirmed this with our Netflix sources. Ragnarok Season 3 began filming on April 8th of this year. The third season is already in post-production, but it may not be able to return this year.
Ragnarok Season 3 Release Date
There is presently no official release date for Ragnarok Season 3, but we believe it will arrive in the second half of 2022. Season 1 debuted on Netflix on January 31, 2020, and season 2 debuted on May 27, 2021, indicating a yearly release.
Ragnarok’s seasons are also relatively short, with only six episodes each, implying that the production is lighter than that of longer-running shows. Ragnarok should be finished this year if they move quickly.
Ragnarok Season 3 Plot
Season 2 of Ragnarok has certainly blurred the lines between good and evil, with Laurits dabbling in the dark side (which makes sense, given he is the current version of Loki, god of mischief). Likewise, after a change of heart in the season 2 finale, Saxa appears to have pledged her allegiance to Magne rather than the Jul.
