The protagonist of the comics was a young boy called Nemo, but this has been changed to a girl and she has been named Nema. The name has Greek origins, which means nobody. It is also linked to nautical stories like Captain Nemo from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Nemo from Finding Nemo.
The best part about the name Nemo is that all of them have gone on their adventures and they meet new people on the journey who bring a lot of thrill and adventure to their stories. The world was built on dreams and nightmares and a place where an individual could wish for something and end up being fulfilled.
When Nema’s father dies, she discovers a map that features the way toward Slumberland. As she goes to sleep, she is mysteriously transported into a world on top of her bed and here she meets a character named Flip. He is also equally eager, like Nema to enter Slumberland. Both the characters develop a strong bond with each other and embark on a journey to the world of dreams where Nema tries to reunite with her father.
The trailer of the film is already out and considering the plot that has been reported in various sources, the film will be full of a lot of thrills and adventures. We have seen similar films in the past and the most recent example is Jungle Cruise, which was released in 2021. It must be noted that these kinds of films have similar and routine plots, but people love to see them again and again since they bring a lot of new and weird things in their journey. Netflix is trying to bring something new to the world of adventure after being successful in bringing a lot of drama and horror to its streaming platform.
