It is developed by Bill Lawrence, Joe Kelly, Jason Sudeikis, and Brendan Hunt who have also served as the executive producer along with Bill Wrubel and Jeff Ingold.
The makers of the series hired some talented stars for the characters of the series including Jason Sudeikis, Jeremy Swift, Brett Goldstein, Nick Mohammed, Sarah Niles, Hannah Waddingham, Phil Dunster, Brendan Hunt, and Juno Temple.
Apple TV+ commissioned the series in October 2019 and debuted on August 14, 2020. Filming for the second season started in January 2021 and concluded on June 4.
The second season aired on July 23, 2021. The first season was a recipient of 20 Primetime Emmy nominations, which was the most at the time. Sudeikis, Waddingham, and Goldstein won accolades for their performances and the show was awarded a Primetime Emmy in the category of Outstanding Comedy Series in 2021. Sudeikis was a recipient of one Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Ted Lasso Season 3 Release Date
Ted Lasso debuted on August 14, 2020. After that, the series was renewed for a second season with 10 episodes and it was later confirmed that it had been expanded to 12 episodes in August 2020. In the same year on October 28, the series was renewed for a third season.
During an episode of the podcast Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach + Donald, Lawrence hinted that Ted Lasso will possibly consist of three seasons since Sudeikis will be unavailable after that. Lawrence said that the story has planned the resolution for three seasons and Brett Goldstein stated in June this year that the show will conclude after Season 3.
Filming for season 3 started on March 7, 2022, and there is no confirmation news about the conclusion of the production. So, there is no official release date for season 3, but we can assume to watch it in late 2022 or early 2023.
Ted Lasso Season 3 Plot
Although Sudeikis, Hunt, Goldstein, Lawrence, and the writers are the only people confirmed until now, we can be assured that Nate’s villainous turn and the club’s enmity with West Ham will play an important role in the new season.
