Who Killed Sara Season 3 Plot
While Alex, Rodolfo, and a detective look on, Sara’s coffin is being hoisted. When the coffin is opened, it is discovered that Sara’s body is missing. This verifies Alex’s fears about his sister’s survival.
Alex received a call concerning Marifer a few days ago. They arrive at a private medical institution, where an old nurse informs them that Marifer is in agony and wishes to meet some familiar faces.
Alex and Elisa meet her inside, but they can’t stay long. Marifer informs Alex that there is a relationship between Nicandro and Dr. Alanis that he should investigate. Once they get backbone home, Alex tries to figure out what Marifer mentioned.
After Dr. Alanis proves to be a dead end, Alex goes to question Nicandro but still comes up empty-handed. Chema is harassed in prison and tries to send a message asking for help.
Nicandro’s father, Dr. Reinaldo, has already spoken about his breakthrough cures that would alter the world. He was the one who made Sara’s death possible since she was crucial to his medical trials.
With Rodolfo’s assistance, Alex locates Cesar and takes all of the money from his account in order to draw him out. Cesar takes the bait and returns to Mexico.
Meanwhile, Mariana is dealing with the aftermath of her husband’s actions and the casino burning down while all her assets are being taken. A girl who resembles Sara appears in Alex’s doorway. They come to the conclusion that she must be Sara’s daughter.
Cesar arrives at Alex’s residence to inquire about his money as Nicandro arrives with a group of gunmen to get Sara’s daughter. Alex drives away with the youngster, who introduces herself as Lucia, after her grandmother.
The shooters capture Lucia, but not before Nicandro is killed in an accident and Alex is injured and left struggling for his life.
It is recounted through flashbacks how Sara was chosen because of a hereditary condition and how Dr. Reinaldo planned her entire life so that he could experiment on her and discover a cure for Schizophrenia. He also conducts abnormal experiments on his daughter in order to cure homosexuality.
Sara even attempts to protest her treatment by going to the press to expose Reinalodo’s practices, but she is unsuccessful.
Cesar visits Alex in the hospital and informs him that he knows where Reinaldo’s facility is situated, the same one that Lucia and Sara were transported to. Thanks to some assistance, Chema was released from prison, but his time there scarred him. He is traumatized and seeks assistance from his mother.
She sends him to Reinaldo’s institution, where he is subjected to severe therapy in order to “cure” him of his homosexuality. Cesar pays a visit to Tonya, Reinaldo’s right hand, and likely knows where Sara is being held.
Alex desires to meet with Tonya alone, dismissing Cesar, Elisa, and Rodolfo. She agrees to tell him the truth about his sister and her current whereabouts.
