If you are a big anime fan like me, then you must be waiting for 86 Season 3. Any little to very little update is what we all are looking for. 86 is quite literally a brilliant Anime that was released in 2021. Like so many more great Anime, 86 originated in Japan. The creators of this anime are A-1 Pictures, Aniplex, and Bandai Spirits.
The genre of Amagi Brilliant Park is Action, Adventure, and Drama. The Republic of San Magnolia is at war with its neighboring country, the Empire of Giad. Both sides use unmanned drones to conduct a “war without casualties”. The story follows Lena as she commands a squad of drones called the 86. For Anime lovers, most of the animes out there are action and thrill and they are loved in their own ways. And 86 is one of the many action animes that are good and thrilling at the same time.
And that is probably the reason why 86 has a score of 8.2/10 on IMDB. This proves that the wait for 86 Season 3 is worth it.
86 Season 3 Plot
So very-very good news for all the fans of 86. 86 Season 3 has been given green light and we are going to see it very soon on our screens. The ratings of this show have been so consistently great, at some points they were as high as even more than 9. This is the season the famous war anime is going to return to your screens because we know that the cost of making the animations in such high resolutions is not an easy and cheap task. But since we have three great and big production studios behind us, everything seems to be sorted.
The story in 86 Season 3 will continue from where it ended in the second season. At the end of Season 2 we saw Shin and his friends return to earnest after the victory. They proceed to celebrate and indulge in their hobbies after a very long time. But then they choose to go back to the military. But this time, Ernest does not stop them from having faith in their personal choice and believing they’ll manage to protect each other. They find out that they are going to be reorganized under a new commanding officer who is none other than Lena.
The 86 Season 3 will continue its story from there. Spearhead Squadron Undertaker Shin Nouzen and Handler one Vladilena Milize, aka Lena, will go out into the new lands which are both underground and to the far north. We will get to see twelve to fifteen episodes in the third season as well.
86 Season 3 Cast
This is a big assumption on our part but it is very fair to make this one. We believe that we are going to have the same cast in the third season of 86 as we had in the second and the first season. This is because Animes generally do not change their cast, also if the character is alive they are generally voiced by the same person. We have little to no information about any new characters that might get added since the producers are silent about the same on their part. We may see those new characters in 86 Season 3 but we will have to wait for the official information and announcements for that.

86 Season 3 Release Date
We have some idea about the release date of the show but this is based on the pattern that we see forming. 86 is a show that has been releasing the seasons back to back and this may be because of the big budget of the three huge studios that they have.
If all goes well and planned, we may get to see 86 Season 3 in the winter of 2022. This is because the first two seasons were released after somewhat of a gap of five to six months. The producers do need that time to create, produce, write, and broadcast the show. The second season just ended in March 2022 which means the earliest we can see 86 Season 3 is around September or October of this year.
However, take note that there is no official announcement for the release date of the show. This is just an assumption. Also, if it gets delayed, we make see it late in the summer of 2023.
86 Story Recap
The Republic of San Magnolia. For a long time, this country has been besieged by its neighbor, the Giadian Empire, which created a series of unmanned drones called the Legion. After years of painstaking research, the Republic finally developed autonomous drones of their own, turning the one-sided struggle into a war without casualties – or at least, that’s what the government claims. In truth, there is no such thing as a bloodless war.
The story was about a war and in the end, the war stopped, and the story revolves around the war. The squadron has returned to earnest now. We are not going to spoil the story for you. You can watch that for yourself.
