‘Ultraman’ is a science-fiction action anime based on Eichi Shimizu’s Japanese manga series of the same name. After saving the world from extinction many decades ago, an extraterrestrial giant of light known as Ultraman vanished without a trace. Shin Hayata, the hero’s human host, lost all memory of his past but was later reminded of it by SSSP, the organization that helped Ultraman many years ago. Shin is severely injured while saving his son Shinjirou in an unexpected attack, forcing the latter to carry the torch of hope for humanity.
Shinjirou finds himself navigating moral quandaries while fighting for the greater good as the responsibility of saving the world falls on his shoulders. Ultraman Season 3 Release Date
‘Ultraman season 2 premiered on Netflix in its entirety on April 14, 2022. The most recent installment consists of six episodes, each lasting exactly 25 minutes. Kenji Kamiyama (‘Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex’) served as the anime’s chief director, with Shinji Aramaki filling in as the second director.
Unfortunately, Netflix has not renewed the third season as of yet. Furthermore, neither Production I.G. nor Sola Digital Arts have commented on the show’s future as of yet. Fans, however, can rest assured that the anime will almost certainly be renewed for another installment. The source material itself provides the first hint. Eichi Shimizu’s Japanese manga series currently has 17 volumes. Although fans had to wait three years for the second season, this was due to a lack of available source material combined with Eichi’s poor health, which further delayed things.
Because the second installment only adapts the first 11 volumes, production on the third installment can begin immediately. Netflix rarely renews shows right after the season premiere, which is most likely the case with ‘Ultraman.’ However, positive developments are expected in the coming months. If the show is renewed within the next 3-5 months, Ultraman season 3 will premiere in Q3 2023.
Ultraman Season 3 Storyline
Shinjirou learns about a rampaging alien in Season 2 and confronts Him. A journalist named Kotaro witnesses the strange event and becomes a witness to the mass disappearance of people in Tokyo. Alien Padent quickly gains power and places his demands in front of humanity. Even the SSSP headquarters are not immune to the chaos, and Padent eventually resorts to using his fearsome weapon, the Golden Fortress, against humanity. Fortunately, Shinjirou and Shin triumph in the final battle, sparing countless innocent people from a painful death.
Star Cluster Council will hire the Leo Brothers, two dangerous assassins, to kill Adad after he betrays them and attempts to challenge the status quo. However, they will, quite paradoxically, change their stance on the Ultra race and begin to see them as a potential threat to the entire world. Shinjirou, Red, Adad, and Moroboshi will join hands in a violent battle between the two groups as tensions rise.
Ultraman Season 3 Cast
It would revolve around Ken Sato, a baseball player who transforms into the next Ultraman and battles Kaijus to save the world. Things, however, are never that simple. A newborn Kaiju, the offspring of his adversaries, enters his life, and he struggles to cope. It remains to be seen whether he will be able to overcome this challenge and save the world.
In terms of the cast, Josh Hutcherson plays Shinjiro Hayata, Chris Edgerly plays Yosuke Endo, Mick Wingert plays Yapool, Steven Jay Blum plays Adad, and Fred Tata sciore plays Shin Hayata. Gunnar Sizemore will play Seiji Hokuto, Ray Chase will play Ace Killer, Matthew Mercer will play Bemular, Robbie Daymond will play Jack, and Brian Palermo will play Mitsuhiro Ide.
