Bofuri Season 2 Everything you need to know

Every gamer fantasizes about the day when designers produce a true virtual reality experience. Unfortunately, this technology does not exist at this time; nevertheless, fiction exists that examines what life would be like if it did. If that’s your thing, there’s a good chance there’s an anime out there named for you.

Technically, this premise is used in a lot of anime (such as “Log Horizon” and “Sword Art Online”). None, though, have the same distinct tone and identity as “Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense.” “Bofuri” is all about experiencing an MMORPG in a genuine VR context, just like its genre relatives.

While shows like “Sword Art Online” focus on the experiences of serious gamers, “Bofuri” is about a lovably foolish novice who manages to become one of the most powerful players in the fictional VRMMORPG NewWorld Online.

Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense is a Japanese light book written by Yuumikan and drawn by Koin. This light novel was first published on September 8, 2017, and there are currently 12 volumes available.

In Japan, Fujimi Shobo published the novel, while Yen Press released it in English. In addition, the manga series is based on the novel. An anime series with the same name premiered on AT-X, ABC, Tokyo MX, TVA, and BS11 on January 8, 2020, and ended on March 25, 2020, with 12 episodes.

Shin Oonuma and Mirai Minato illustrated the anime series, which was written by Fumihiko Shimo. On December 6, 2018, Kadokawa confirmed that the anime would be adapted. Funimation has licensed the anime for a SimulDub.

The series has a 7.5/10 on IMDb. The audience like this gaming animation as well. The characters and world of the series are both stunning and vibrant. It’s always entertaining to watch a charming little narrative.

According to Anime News Network, the series began as a standalone online novel written by Yuumikan and published in 2016. The series quickly gained a following, spawning light novels, manga, and (most recently) anime adaptations.

The first season of the show ended in 2020, however, a second season was confirmed shortly after. Here’s all we know so far about Season 2 of “Bofuri.”

Kaede Honjou is the main character in the series, who was invited to play online games by her friend Risa Shiramine. Kaede, on the other hand, despises online gaming and dislikes being in pain. Maple was the name she gave to the character in the game when she was playing it. Because she isn’t very good at gaming, she let all of her status points to be shielded.

She was unable to employ any magical abilities as a result, and she was even assaulted by bunnies. She managed to get Absolute Defense abilities in some way. The thrills and spills don’t stop there.

Fans of “Bofuri” will be pleased to learn that Season 2 has not only been announced, but will also be released soon. Silver Link, the show’s creators, wrapped up Season 1 with the announcement that Season 2 will premiere in 2022.

To say the least, this is a wonderful surprise. It’s not every day that a new anime is renewed for a second season. Frequently, there is a period of unannounced limbo during which fans are forced to mourn in the dark about the future return of their favourite show. Fortunately, this isn’t the case with “Bofuri.”

That isn’t to imply the situation is without risk. Season 2 was announced in the middle of the COVID-19 epidemic, when even the most popular shows were experiencing delays left and right. Nobody knows if the epidemic had any impact on the development of Bofuri Season 2.

Silver Link’s lack of remark on the matter, on the other hand, is a good sign that everything is proceeding as planned.
