Young Black Jack Season 2 is the second sequel of the Young Black Jack which is a Japanese manga series written by Yoshiaki Tabata and illustrated by Yūgo Ōkuma. It is an adaptation of the original manga named Black Jack which was written and illustrated by Tezuka Osamu.
The manga has been an inspiration for creating the plot and storyline of several movies, TV anime adaptations, games, and many media franchises over time and has been successful for many years.
It was published by Akita Shoten’s Young Champion magazine on 22nd November 2011. It consisted of 16 volumes and 142 chapters and was finished on 11th June 2019.
And an anime adaptation aired in Japan from October to December 2015.

The Anime television series was directed by Mitsuko Kase and produced by Junichirō Tanaka, Shintarō Hashimoto, Shunichi Uemura, Mai Ichikawa, Jun Fukuda, Makoto Satō, Yasuhiro Takano, Yū Igawa.
The series ran between October 2015 – December 2015. The series consists of a total of 12 episodes.

Young Black Jack Season 2 Plot
The story of Young Black Jack takes place in the 1960s. In the series, Kuroo Hazana is a gifted child. He is a medical student who had suffered a lot in the past. Now he tries to make a name for himself. He tries to become a doctor and wants to achieve the impossible.
Along with being a medical student and being good at his studies he was also blessed with brilliance in surgery. He devotes himself to medicine with his friends Makio Okamoto and Yabu. Hazama’s path to becoming a surgeon gets tougher when he finds himself caught up in a series of circumstances like student riots or corruption which challenged his integrity as a person and his path towards becoming a surgeon.
But the choices that he makes and the way he manages to cure people every time and always lives up to his name gave him the name the Black Jack.

We can assume that they might be waiting for the right time to release the sequel. The manga has ended in 2019, and now the fans are restless and also excited to see its story on the screens.
