Eternal Love Of Dream Season 1 Plot
Bei Fengjiu was saved by Donghua after being assaulted by a wild animal while stranded in Monster world as a young child. Fengjiu is committed to paying back this life debt since he feels both thankful and indebted. She enters Taichen Palace, the residence of Donghua, with Siming’s assistance as a fairy maid. She trades part of Nie Chuyin’s power for her nine-tailed fox fur to transform into a regular one-tailed fox, which he transforms into a pet and carries back to his castle to protect him from the Ten-Lotus ward.
She eventually develops a love for him out of her appreciation. Fengjiu departs the Taichen palace and heads back to Qingqiu after being physically hurt by Jiheng’s pet lion and psychologically scarred by Donghua’s choice to wed Jiheng. When Chong Lin reports that the fox is missing, Donghua goes in search of her but is unsuccessful.
Helping Donghua through his mortal challenge allows Fengjiu to pay back her life’s debt to him. Her obligation to the mortal Qingti who died to save her is promptly repaid. She promises to resuscitate him when she returns from the mortal world. Both in Qingqiu and heaven, Donghua and Fengjiu cross paths multiple times, and he immediately develops a crush on her. Fengjiu transforms into a handkerchief in an effort to get away from Donghua, but he takes it and claims it as his own. A cyclone washes both Donghua and Fengjiu into Fanyin Valley as they fight Yan Chiwu.
Donghua arrives in the valley six months later. Fengjiu enters a contest for a chance to win a pimpon fruit that would resurrect Qingti. To get ready for the tournament, Donghua trains Fengjiu. Upon winning, Fengjiu is immediately dismayed to learn that the reward has been changed to peaches and devastated by Jiheng’s explanation that Donghua gave her the pimpon fruit at her request. Fengjiu enters Aranya’s dream after finding the snake’s labyrinth while on a mission to obtain the fruit at whatever cost. Donghua ultimately saves her once more, and they both come to terms with their affections for one another. Fengjiu cures the wounded Qingti with the fruit after returning.
Because Jiheng uses emotional blackmail to force him to remain unmarried forever, Donghua does not attend their wedding. She is never allowed to leave the Monster realm by him, who ferociously transfers the poison from her body to his own. Fengjiu leaves, leaving her son Bai Gungun behind, and begins a new life in the mortal realm. She rejects the offer of a ring crafted from half of Donghua’s heart when they last met before the latter’s decisive conflict with Miaolua. The moment she unintentionally learns that Donghua is ready to lose his life in combat, she rushes to aid Donghua and join the fight.
Even if they are successful, Fengjiu is hurt. Donghua runs across his son Gungun while he is attending to Fengjiu. After they both confess their errors and Donghua names Ye Qingti as his successor, Fengjiu awakens.

For a season with 56 episodes, Eternal Love of Dream had a just passable performance. The sow currently has ratings of 9.7 out of 10 from Rakuten Viki and 8.6 out of 10 from MyDramaList. IMDb also gave IT an 8.1 out of 10 ratings. Following these encouraging results, it can be said that the Chinese drama successfully shaped the spectators’ perceptions. Nevertheless, it is regrettable that the production business Tencent QQ has chosen not to move through with the renewal of the following season. Therefore, there won’t be Eternal Love of Dream Season 2.
