Developed for the streaming service platform Amazon Prime Video by a British- American screenwriter Jonathan Nolan and American screenwriter Lisa Joy, Fallout is an upcoming post-apocalyptic television series. The upcoming series is based on the same name role-playing video game franchise that is created by an American video game developer and publisher based in Los Angeles, Interplay Entertainment, and an American video game publisher based in Rockville, Maryland named Bethesda Softworks.
Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan are also the executive producers of the series alongside Todd Howard, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, James Altman, Athena Wickhman, and Graham Wagner. The brand-new series is produced by Bethesda Softworks, Bethesda Game Studios, Kilter Films, and Amazon Studios.
Fallout Release Date
The television adaptation of the video game franchise was announced in July 2020 and it was confirmed for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The series was described as a crazy and funny adventure that we had never seen before. Filming started this year in July and production took place mostly in New Jersey, New York, and Utah. Since the production of the series has started recently, they can’t announce an official release date for this post-apocalyptic series. We can be expected to see the series in 2023.
Fallout Story
The makers have not revealed everything that we would get to see in Fallout. So definitely we have to wait for its release. Meanwhile, Variety reported that the story would be a kind of adaptation of the games of the same name. It will be set in a world where the future expected by the Americans in the 40s explodes upon itself following a nuclear war in 2077.
According to the setup of Fallout, October 2077 would be the beginning of a thermonuclear disaster called the Great War, and the United States and the People’s Republic of China will also be involved in it. The impact of the Great War has been worse since a major portion of the Earth has left many people dead and resulted in a wasteland full of mutated creatures.
The situation has led to the rise of ghouls who have been called post-humans since they can avoid radiation and they mostly appear as living and rotting corpses. Considering everything that has been mentioned above, we can expect to see a lot of amazing things in the all-new show. The series will be set in a world where nothing is normal and some new and weird type of things should appear every time on the screen. Amazon Prime Video has a long list of shows that are currently under development and audiences are very excited about them. The same is happening for Fallout and the expectations are going to increase once a release date is revealed.
Fallout Cast
The makers have not revealed any characters yet, but they have officially confirmed some super-talented stars since February 2022. The super-talented cast includes Walton Goggins (Justified, Ant-Man and The Wasp), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Aaron Moten (Disjointed), Xelia Mendes-Jones (Havoc), and Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets, Army of the Dead). The cast of this post-apocalyptic series has not been disclosed yet. If the makers reveal anything about the cast or any other stars we will let you know.
