The American series is all set to release on Friday, June 10, 2022. To be exact, at 12 am ET/PT and 5 am GMT. The official trailer for the season was released on May 16, 2022. 

This season also consists of 10 episodes like the last season. Each episode will be of 45-76 minutes and will be aired every week after the date of debut.

The season also expects some action, drama, and most importantly, the risk & danger that are involved in the job. NASA and the Soviet Union, both are trying to reach the Red Planet first. We have to wait a little bit for the season to know who will reach it first or who is going to survive in the competition.

The space-oriented seasons always show a time difference of 10 years. The first season of the series had time from the 1970s, while the second season held time from the 1980s. The third season is likely to depict a time in the 1990s. 

This season, the goal is to reach the Red planet. NASA is set to make sure that they reach the Planet first. Even if they have to kill anyone or join hands with enemies. They want their job to be done at any cost.

This season introduces an intense clash between NASA and the Soviet Union in a race for a settlement on Mars. In the upcoming sci-fi series, we are expecting some thrilling adventures between both parties on who will be going to complete the mission first. All the characters are trying hard to show their loyalty despite all the conflicts arising in the way of their ambitions. 

The finale of a second season full of action rolls up with an emotional end. When two of our favorite characters die. The conflict between Russia and America reached a point of crisis both on Earth and on the Moon. Gordo and Tracy, to save the moon from becoming inhabitable sacrifice their lives.

As far as the cast is concerned about the season, we are hoping to see the same cast as before. But as some of the characters die in the last season and the show is moving forward to 10 years. We are expecting some changes in the cast.

For the viewers, the season is coming after a year, but the season itself will be showing a time difference of 10 years. Season 2 was a case of the 1980s, while season 3 is a case of the 1990s. Maybe the production house will show some older actors to replace the young cast. Or the cast will do some makeup to make them look like people of age 50-0r or 60.

  • Shantel VanSanten plays Karen Baldwin, wife of Ed who owns “a bar that is mostly visited by NASA astronauts.
  • Jodi Balfour plays Ellen Wilson, an astronaut, a member of “Nixon’s Women”, and later becomes an Administrator of NASA. 
  • Wrenn Schmidt plays Margo Madisoan, an engineer.
  • Sonya Walger plays Molly Cobb, astronaut, and also a part of “Nixon’s Women”.
  • Krys Marshall plays Danielle Poole, an astronaut and also a part of “Nixon’s Women”.
  • Cynthy Wu plays Kelly Baldwin, a scientist, and Ed and Karen’s adopted her as a daughter.
  • Edi Gathegi plays Dev Ayesa, the founder of “Helios Aerospace”, a private space company which most of the time. It also has a motive to win the Red Planet way earlier than NASA and the Soviet Union.
  • Coral Pena plays Aleida Rosales, a person who is attracted by space and later gets under the supervision of Margo.
