I’ve got great news- Legacies season 5 may see the light of day.
Legacies is an American fantasy drama television series developed by Julie Plec that aired on October 25, 2018.
It is a spin-off of The Originals and involves characters from both that show and its predecessor, The Vampire Diaries. Danielle Rose Russell reprises her role as 17-year-old Hope Mikaelson from The Originals’ fifth and final season. Matt Davis also appears heavily in the series, repeating his role as Alaric Saltzman from The Vampire Diaries.
The third season began on January 21, 2021. The CW renewed the series for a fourth season in February 2021, which debuted on October 14, 2021.

About Legacies Season 5
Hope discovers in the final episodes of the season that she must turn into a Tribrid in order to fully utilize her skills. As a consequence, in order to achieve her aim, she must work with somebody from her past.
In the midst of her mourning Landon’s death, Lizzie devises a strategy to help her move on. Hope also finds it difficult to let go of things, especially after she discovers Landon and Cleo together in her dorm.
She discovers they’re teammates with Alaric and the Saltzman twins. Nevertheless, events do not go as planned for Hope, and this may cause her to be estranged from Landon forever.
Not much can truly be said about how things will turn out because no official announcement has been made so far. Here’s what we think might happen:
Will Landon and Hope reunite? That will be a sensitive point of discussion.
The fourth season delves into MG’s vampirism and whether or not he can use his unique abilities for the greater good. We observe as Hope accepts the truth that she is, in fact, a Tribrid. We suppose that this idea will be flirted with yet again in season 5.
Legacies Season 5 Release Date
The launch date for Legacies Season 5 has several fans buzzing with excitement. The release date for this season has yet to be revealed.
The Legacies Season 5 Release Date has sparked a great deal of interest amongst fans of the show. We expect that season 5 will be scheduled to premiere in mid-2023.
Legacies Season 5 Cast
Again, the show has not officially been announced yet, but it seems pretty obvious what the cast list will look like.
- Danielle Rose Russell as Hope Mikaelson: A teenaged orphan and student at the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted who is descended from some of the most powerful vampire, werewolf, and witch bloodlines via her parents, Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall.
- Aria Shahghasemi as Landon Kirby: Rafael’s foster brother and an old acquaintance of Hope who eventually becomes her boyfriend and fellow student at the Salvatore School. Initially thought to be a human, he is then suspected of being a supernatural being, and is later revealed to be a phoenix.
- Kaylee Bryant as Josie Saltzman: A witch and student at the Salvatore School. She is Alaric’s 15-year-old daughter, Lizzie’s twin, and was named after her biological mother, Josette “Jo” Laughlin of the powerful Gemini coven. Josie is deferential to her sister, Lizzie, and lacks self-confidence.
- Jenny Boyd as Lizzie Saltzman: A witch and student at the Salvatore School. She is Alaric’s 15-year-old daughter, Josie’s twin, and was named after Elizabeth Forbes, the late mother of the twins’ surrogate mother, Caroline Forbes. Lizzie is narcissistic and is prone to emotional meltdowns
- Quincy Fouse as MG: A good-natured vampire who works as Alaric’s student aide and is friendly with the Saltzman twins.
- Peyton Alex Smith as Rafael (seasons 1–3; special guest star season 4): A recently triggered werewolf and Landon’s foster brother. After suffering an abusive childhood in the foster system, he becomes a student at the Salvatore School.
- Matt Davis as Alaric Saltzman: Josie and Lizzie’s father and the human headmaster of the Salvatore School. Davis described Alaric’s role in the series as “somewhere between Professor X and Dumbledore”.
- Leo Howard as Ethan: a student at Mystic Falls High School and Sheriff Mac’s son.
- Omono Okojie as Cleo: a witch and a new student at the Salvatore School who becomes Hope’s roommate.

This show has historically been a strong one for the network, and The CW has consistently renewed the majority of its series every year.
