Inspired by Kugane Maruyama’s light novel series of the same name, Overlord is a popular Japanese anime television series. The series was directed by Naoyuki It and produced by Madhouse. The soundtrack was composed by Shoji Katayama, and the script was written by Yukie Sugawara.
Overlord ran on AT-X from July 7 to September 29, 2015, with additional airings on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, TV Aichi, and BS11. The show’s second season aired on MBS and the second season aired from January 10th, 2018, until April 4th, 2018, and the third season aired from July 11 to October 2 of 2018.
Overlord Season 5 Release Date
Season 4 of Overlord is almost gone, but fans are already demanding more. There have been no confirmed reports of a Season 5 of Overlord as of yet. Therefore, until the program is renewed, we have no idea if it will. Overlord’s fifth season premiere is scheduled for 2023.
Overlord Season 5 Plot
The Overload seasons allow you to feel what it’s like to be cooped up in a magical world. If the user enjoys playing video games, they will enjoy this series. After leaving his job as an MMORPG player, the Hero found himself unable to leave the game. When he started spending all of his free time in the Yggdrasil MMO virtual reality game, it wasn’t long until the game had him completely hooked.
Momonga and his pals spend the whole novel trying to keep the virtual world at bay from the actual one. Momonga’s character is quite interesting. As we witnessed last season, Momonga’s real-world counterpart, Anise, plays a more significant role in the virtual game. He plans to build an empire in the digital realm and equip himself with powerful skills so that he can rule it. Season 5 of Overlord will show us if Anise will become a terrible horrible person because of his amazing potential, or whether he will turn out to be a decent guy for others.
Overlord Season 5 Cast
Satoshi Hino will be back as the series’ main protagonist Ainz Ooal Gown, the most respected Supreme Being of Nazarick. Albedo, the high-ranking and affection-hungry succubus discovered in Season 3 to be a virgin, will be played again by Yumi Hara. Shall Tear Bloodfallen, the cold, frigid, horrifying, but oddly lovely little monster is played once again by Sumire Uesaka.
In Season 4, Kenta Myake will return as the character of the Guardian Cocytus. Sixth-floor gender-bending Guardians Aura and Mare, played by Emiri Kat and Yumi Uchiyama, will return. Demiurge, the blade-tailed seventh-floor Guardian, and leader of the NPC defenses are believed to be narrated by Masayuki Katou. We know nothing about Overlord’s upcoming fifth season.
