Power Book II Ghost is an American crime drama series created by Courtney A. Camp for Starz Network. The executive producers of the series include Bart Wenrich, Chris Salek, 50 Cent, Danielle DeJesus, Mark Canton, and others.
The 1st season premiered on September 6, 2020, and on January 3, 2021. The second season was on air from November 21, 2021, to February 26, 2022. The show got an IMDb rating of 7.1 out of 10. The critics don’t find the show quite as fascinating, but fans seem to disagree with this. They are happy with this adventure-packed crime drama.
The Power Book Ghost series follows the new life of Tariq James St. Patrick after the death of his father. He aspires to put an end to his father’s legacy, but the pressure is mounting to save his family. Things get really complicated when he involves himself in Tejada’s family affairs. He strikes a balance between his love life, family affairs, and the drug business. What do you think he will be able to keep???
Power book II Ghost Season 3 Release Date
For the fans of power book, there is a little bad news. The release date for Power Book II season 3 has not been announced. However, it is expected that the season will drop in December 2022 or in January 2023 like the last seasons.
The renewal for season 3 was announced on December 7, 2021, even when season 2 was going on air. But don’t forget the showrunners of the series are known for throwing unexpected surprises, so anything can happen.
As far as episodes are concerned, as last both seasons had 10 episodes, so might be, this season will also have the same number of episodes. Each with a running time of 45 to 67 minutes. The possible release date will be between November to December 2022.
We are positive that we can soon watch the show.
Power book II Ghost season 3 Storyline
After the unexpected finale of season 2, season 3 is going to be a lot more sensational and thrilling. It will be a continuing series. So it might answer all the unsolved mysteries left in the finale of season 2.
In season 3 we will see Maclean trying to get his brother, Theo Rollins out of jail. Rollins was accused of murder, which he didn’t do in the first place. Cooper Saxe joins hands with Prosecutor Jenny Sullivan to work on Maclean’s dishonest lawyering.
Thanks to the Rainey podcast where he implies that season 3 will be a lot more exciting. So we hope that his coming season will truly amaze us like the last seasons.
At the end of season 2, we think Monet is sure about finding out her husband, Lorenzo Tejada, is involved in killing their eldest son. Might be due to that fake identity case. On the other side Tariq, who wants himself out of the drug game after killing Professor Reynolds, decided to remain in the light now when Mecca is finally out of the picture.
Brayden introduces himself as the CEO of a drug app and happens to sell drugs in college. He betrayed Tariq after setting him up for his college girlfriend Lauren, who was found dead in a car accident.
In the end, NYPD detective Blanca comes back and a revelation is made that she works as a personal spy for Mecca. It was seen that she is investigating the Mecca shooting which will create some serious problems for Tariq.
