The exciting American action-drama S.W.A.T. has been a captivating and popular TV series based on another series of 1975 of the same name. 2017 series was developed by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan and started airing on November 2nd, 2017. Each episode will be of about 42 minutes long.
S.W.A.T. Season 5 Plot

Season 4 dealt with the relationship between the law keepers and the African-American community in Los Angeles. Honda has been depicted trying his level best to execute harmony among the police and people, managing his work as an S. W. A. T. agent on the other side.
He also goes through wax and wanes in his personal life in the season. A twist comes when the mob attacks the police station and bomb bards the station. Honda and his team have to deal with radicalism.

The lead Shemar Moore as Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson Jr. is depicted as a native of Los Angeles. He acts as a team leader of the Swat agents and establishes harmony among the Cops and the African American community. Stephanie Sigman is seen in the role of captain Jessica Cortez who is the commanding officer of the Los Angeles PD Metropolitan division. She is the lover of the lead Hondo and then becomes the former lover.
