BBC One is bringing the 20th season of Strictly Come Dancing which will be launched on September 10 2022 and is expected to continue after that. It is a British reality television show by Karen Smith, Fenia Vardanis, and Richard Hopkins. The creator, Karen, is also the reality show director, where the celebrities partner with professional dancers to compete in Latin and ballroom dance.
Dancing reality shows have gained recognition in all these years for their flawless presentation of performances and featuring well-known celebrities’ faces as hosts and judges. Strictly Come Dancing has also received a similar response. The show first premiered on BBC One on May 15, 2004, and ran for more than 18 seasons until 2021. The show will be airing on BBC. The contestants get time to practice before the live show, streaming on Saturdays. The show has aired for around 19 seasons. The run time has been reduced over the last two years because of pandemic restrictions.

The show was filmed at BBC Television Centre, Elstree Studios’ George Lucas Stage 2, and Tower Ballroom in Blackpool. During the fourth season, an hour-long highlights show was also broadcast on BBC Two. In the following two seasons, the results were shifted to Sunday evenings despite being filmed on Saturday and being marked as live while being broadcast on Sunday.
The makers have not announced changes to the format, host, or judges, and everything would likely remain the same in the new season.

Since the show’s makers have not revealed anything about the cast details yet, we are not sure who will come to compete in the play. BBC announced in May 2022 that Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Shirley Ballas would return to the judging panel.
Although there is no information available, we can expect Tess Daly and Claudia Winkelman or Rylan Clark and Janette Manrara are expected to return as the new hosts for Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two.
