The Gilded Age Season 2 Release Date
At the moment, we have no idea about the release date for the coming season. But don’t you worry, it will be released soon. In February 2022, HBO max announced the renewal of the second season of the historical series.
However, production for the series has already begun. This means we don’t have to wait a lot for the season. It will soon drop on our screen. Finger Crossed!
After keeping in mind its early production status, it is speculated that the Gilded Age season 2 will arrive in the early beginning of 2023. About the episodes it will be the same as in the season with the same running time.
Plus, the trailer will be released just the day before the season is going to premiere.
The Gilded Age Season 2 Storyline
We don’t have confirmation about the plot for the season. But it’s expected that things will continue from where last season ended.
The series follows a girl named Marian Brooks. Marian leaves Pennsylvania to live with her wealthy Aunts, Agnes van Rhijn and Ada Brook in New York after the death of her father. The story depicts the time of 1882.
Peggy Scott, an African American woman, goes along with Marian to live in their relative’s house. She was already successful, but she wanted to have a fresh start. And this time she wants to become a writer.
As soon as both of them arrive, Marian finds herself in a terrible family feud between her aunts and their rivals. In all the nine-episode there was a kind of social war going on with one of the biggest Tycoons of New York, i.e., George Russell and his wife, Bertha.
After attending quite a number of balls and some unexpected news Marian’s love life was a whole mess at the end of season 1. In the end, we see Marian go against her family with the help of Peggy Scott.
Season 1 ended with many mysteries left unattended. So given this, season 2 might give us the answer to all the questions. The focus will be more on the romantic life of Marian. And as far as other characters are concerned, the exploration of Peggy Scott will be a lot more entrancing. As she faces quite a bit of confession, especially in terms of her long-lost son.
After all the troubles, heartbreaks, social status, revelations, and debts, things seemed to settle down a bit in the end. Without a doubt, Season 1 was full of drama. We anticipate that season 2 will be a lot more interesting and exciting.
