The Lonely and Great God Season 2 Storyline
The makers have not renewed the series for a second season yet, so, we don’t have any plot for the new season. But we hope that the new season will continue where the previous season ended.
Here, is the plot of season 1, where Kim Shin is a military general in the Goryeo Dynasty and he is later framed and killed by the young king for being a traitor.
However, he is then cursed by the Almighty to remain immortal and undergo the pain of watching his close ones die for the soldier he killed to save his country. He changes into an immortal goblin and helps people with his powers and becomes a kind man. His immortality could be ended with the Goblin’s bride, who would pull out the sword.
Ji Eun-Tak is a high schooler who is cheerful and hopeful despite suffering a few things. She calls the Goblin and things eventually change. Yoo Deok-Hwa, who is the Goblin’s nephew, puts Goblin’s house on lease to a Grim Reaper and they eventually settle under one roof. Ji Eun-Tak then joins a part-time job at a chicken store operated by a woman named Sunny. While the series explores the lives of Kim Shin, Grim Reaper, Ji Eun-Tak, and Sunny, another story comes up where it is revealed that they are not strangers and instead related to each other.
