Hosted by Mike Rowe, Dirty Jobs is an American television series that is featured doing the most difficult duties along with the new employees at the place. It is a spin-off inspired by a segment of a local show Evening Magazine. After finishing a graphic piece on cow artificial insemination, Row was attracted to letters that spoke of different expressions.
The tape was sent to various networks and Comedy Central replied by stating that their fall would not let a talk show take place inside a septic tank. Rowe then sent it to Discovery Channel and they prepared a series. Craig Piligian is the producer along with Gena McCarthy as the executive producer.

Produced by Pilgrim Films & Television, it was released in November 2003 and aired for eight seasons until 2012. The setting was changed to Australia in the final season and a spinoff miniseries, Dirty Jobs: Rowe’d Trip was released on July 7, 2020. The original version made a comeback in January this year. The European version was hosted by Peter Schmeichel, who has played for Manchester United and has been a goalkeeper for Denmark. The show was a recipient of five Primetime Emmy Awards, including 3 in the category of Outstanding Reality Program and 2 for cinematography.
